Role Summary
We are looking for an L1 Network & Desktop Support Engineer to provide first-level technical support for users, troubleshoot desktop, network and hardware-related issues, and ensure smooth IT operations. The candidate should have basic networking knowledge and hands-on experience in desktop support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L1 technical support for desktops, laptops, and network-related issues
Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN, printers, and peripheral devices
Install, configure, and support Windows OS / Office 365 / Outlook
User account management through Active Directory
Handle ticketing system / incident logging and resolution
Support VPN connectivity and basic network issues
Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for unresolved issues
Ensure IT policies & security compliance
Provide remote and onsite user support
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in Desktop / Network Support
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, O365
Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Switching & Routing
Experience with Active Directory & Ticketing Tools
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Certifications preferred: CCNA (basic), MCP, ITIL Foundation
Ready to work in shifts / onsite support if required
Education
Diploma / Graduate in IT / Computer Engineering
Relevant technical certifications preferred
