We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in the contracting \/ construction industry to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 7\u201310 years of Gulf experience and will be responsible for overseeing the company\u2019s financial operations, ensuring compliance, preparing reports, and supporting management with financial planning and analysis.<\/p>\n
*JOB DESCRIPTIONS:* <\/p>\n
1 ~Recording Transactions \u2013 Enter daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
\n2~Bookkeeping \u2013 Maintain ledgers, journals, and ensure proper documentation.
\n3~Accounts Payable \u2013 Process supplier invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.
\n4~Accounts Receivable \u2013 Prepare invoices, track collections, and follow up on outstanding payments.
\n5~Bank Reconciliation \u2013 Match bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy.
\n6~Payroll Management \u2013 Process salaries, allowances, deductions, and prepare payroll reports.
\n7~Petty Cash Handling \u2013 Maintain petty cash records and reconcile balances.
\n8~Forecasting \u2013 Provide financial forecasts to support planning and decision-making.
\n9~Financial Statements \u2013 Prepare balance sheet, profit & loss account, and cash flow statements.
\n10~Tax Compliance \u2013 Prepare and file VAT\/corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with regulations.
\n11~Audit Preparation \u2013 Provide data and reports for internal\/external auditors.
\n12 ~Fixed Assets Management \u2013 Maintain asset register, calculate depreciation, and support asset audits.
\n13 ~Cash Flow Management \u2013 Monitor inflows and outflows to maintain liquidity.
\n14~Financial Analysis \u2013 Provide cost, profit, and performance analysis for management decisions.
\n15 ~Regulatory Compliance \u2013 Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.
\n16 ~Reporting to Management \u2013 Provide timely MIS (Management Information System) reports.
\n17 ~Contract & Agreement Review \u2013 Review financial terms in vendor\/customer contracts.
\n18 ~Bank Liaison \u2013 Coordinate with banks for loans, facilities, and financial arrangements.
\n19 ~Subcontractor \/ Supplier Handling Confidentiality \u2013 Ensure all financial data is handled securely and professionally.<\/p>\n
*Requirements* <\/p>\n
\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields .
\n\u2022 Minimum 7\u201310 years of proven Gulf experience in accounting within a contracting \/ construction company.
\n\u2022 Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and financial reporting.
\n\u2022 Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
\n\u2022 Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
\n\u2022 Strong communication skills in English , Hindi .<\/p>\n
