HSE Engineer – to join an Entity in UAE

Contract Type: Outsourced, Yearly renewable
Salary : 8,000 AED – 10,000 AED

About the Job:

– We are looking for a qualified EV Engineer with a strong focus on Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) to support our client’s operations. Candidates with Electric Vehicle (EV) experience are preferred, but strong HSE expertise is the main requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

– Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and local regulations
– Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and site audits
– Develop and implement HSE plans, safety programs, and toolbox talks
– Investigate incidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions
– Monitor workplace safety related to electrical systems, charging stations, and equipment.
– Support EV-related projects with a strong safety and environmental focus
– Prepare HSE reports and maintain documentation

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HSE, or a related field
– Proven experience in HSE roles (mandatory)
– Strong knowledge of HSE standards, risk management, and safety regulations
– EV or electrical engineering experience is an advantage, not a must
– HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are highly preferred
– Excellent communication and reporting skills
